Shipping Operations Executive (Post Fixture), Singapore

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Operations Executive/ Senior, Post Fixture to manage end-to-end post-fixture activities for Gas and Tanker operations. This role focuses on freight invoicing, receivables management, and dispute resolution, ensuring accurate financial tracking and protection of the Owner’s commercial interests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue freight invoices ahead of voyage completion Bill delivery bunkers and hire in advance of delivery / hire periods Monitor vessel schedules and payment due dates to ensure timely collections Match Treasury receipts against invoices issued Process broker commissions and prepare payments Prepare Treasury instructions for bareboat vessels Coordinate closely with Operations, Chartering, Compliance, and Accounts teams Track receivables, send reminders, and escalate overdue accounts Review Charterers’ counters and support dispute resolution to recover outstanding amounts Tankers & Gas Fleet Responsibilities Apply Worldscale flat rates and recap terms to calculate freight accurately Monitor voyage progress and cargo discharge to ensure billing accuracy Calculate and support voyage-related claims (laytime, deviation, heating, speed-up, etc.) Ensure all supporting documents (cargo, voyage, agent, Master inputs) are properly verified Conduct voyage reviews and follow up with Operators to ensure claims are submitted within time-bar Requirements Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or Accountancy Prior experience in shipping operations, post-fixture, or shipping accounts preferred Knowledge of charterparty terms and Worldscale is an advantage Familiarity with IMOS system and strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines Why Join Exposure to Gas & Tanker commercial operations Opportunity to develop expertise in post-fixture, clai…
