Make it real | www.capgemini.com Job Summary We are hiring a DevOps Platform Engineer to support the design, automation and reliability of technology platforms supporting capital markets systems. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and operational stability in a regulated environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and automation solutions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery Monitor system and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for operational stability Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements within a regulated environment Collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to ensure seamless platform integration and delivery Drive continuous improvement of DevOps tools and processes to increase automation and reduce manual intervention Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Shell to automate tasks and improve operational workflows Manage container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable application deployment Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS to deploy and manage infrastructure components Demonstrate willingness to learn and responsibly apply AI-based development tools to enhance platform capabilities Communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team Required competencies and certifications One to three years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles Knowledge of UNIX platforms and databases such as SQL or Oracle Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and monitoring tools Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience supporting financial or capital market systems Experience with banking or trading platforms Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages Exposure to microservices and modern application design
