Senior Software Engineer (Java)

About the Role We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to build and scale high-performance systems in domains such as eCommerce and financial services . You’ll work on modern microservices architectures , contribute across the SDLC, and solve real-world problems impacting production systems at scale. What You’ll Be Doing Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures Write clean, testable code with a focus on quality and maintainability Contribute to automated testing (unit & integration) Collaborate in an Agile team environment Troubleshoot and improve live systems to ensure reliability What We’re Looking For At least 3–7 years of backend development experience Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented design Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases Exposure to CI/CD, testing frameworks, and code quality tools Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively Good to have Experience with tools like JUnit, Mockito, Jenkins, SonarQube Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., MQ/Kafka) Exposure to cloud or container platforms Experience in banking or eCommerce systems
