Work is ongoing to elevate the solutions towards AI capabilities. About the Role Client seeks an experienced solution consultant to support IoT business in the APAC market. They aim to provide end-to-end IoT Solutions to enterprises in the region. Solution Consultant - IoT will be responsible for designing and project-managing customer solutions. Responsibilities Understanding of all Major RFID OEM Hardware and Software: Deep understanding of Major RFID and IoT Hardware and Software. Understanding Hardware and Software applications in an Enterprise environment to design customised solutions. A deep knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) technology is a must for the position. Design IoT Solutions based on Customer requirements. The solution consultant works across Kathrein and non-Kathrein IoT product and services landscape and designs specialised solutions to meet Customers' requirements. The Solution could incorporate 3rd Party products and devices that can be integrated into the Kathrein Cross talk IoT platform or other 3rd party Software systems. Understanding Customer Business Needs: The position requires the candidate to understand current customer processes and Business needs. The designed solution should demonstrate considerable business improvement in financials and process efficiencies, ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the solution that meets their business objectives. Documentation and Presentation to Customers: This position requires the person to support the sales team in Interacting with the customer through presentations and customer solution documentation. The Solution consultant will be the solution owner and a single point of contact for all technical clarifications related to the Solution during the presales and Execution phases. Project Management of Projects: The position will also require the Solution consultant to lead some early projects in a country during the execution phase. The consultant will need to work on customer premises in India and other countries on a short-term/long-term basis. Leading/ Supporting POC/ Demo: The position will require supporting specific customer demos of Solutions and running Proof of Concept (POC) for solutions. The consultant will need to define the success criteria for the POC in consultation with the Customer. The solution consultant will need to lead the technical changes that need to be done to make the POC a success. Interactions with Regional Solutions Team and 3rd party solution components: Solutions consultant will be working closely with the other experts in the Solutions team and for 3rd party products is expected to coordinate with them on all technical matters for the completeness and success of solutions. Creation of White papers, Use case Studies, and blogs/ podcasts: A solution consultant from time to time will be required to work with the strategy team to create white papers and Use case study documents as Customer collaterals and for the website enrichment. Value-based templates and tools: In the initial phases of the job, the solution consultant is expected to create a value-based selling template and tools to provide a standardised way of creating customer value for solutions. In the long run, this tool will offer a regular value-based argument for every designed solution. Partnerships, vendor management, and local testing: Their philosophy is to incorporate devices from third-party vendors into the readers and Crosstalk software.
