Company Overview CHAN RONG FEN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD began as a general works contractor in 2000. The company now serves as main contractor for small to medium projects and provides project management services coordinating specialist trades for industrial and commercial projects. Job Summary You will prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets, analyze drawings and contracts for cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, track project costs, and advise project teams on financial and contractual matters to ensure project success. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects to support accurate financial planning Analyze and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project costs Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery Track and report on project costs, variations, and cash flow to maintain financial control and transparency Advise project teams on financial and contractual matters to support informed decision-making and risk management Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to uphold project integrity and safety Preferred competencies and qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Excellent knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and cost estimation techniques Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to cost management and contract evaluation Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
