Site Engineer

Responsibilities Plan and coordinate site works to resolve drawing details and discrepancies for smooth project execution Liaise effectively with consultants and subcontractors to address technical and quality issues In charge of traffic diversion, drain diversion and footpath diversion. Work independently and contribute as a key member of the Site Management team Identify and recommend solutions for potential and actual schedule-impacting problems at the site Review drawings for conflicts with Structural and M&E disciplines and coordinate with consultants to resolve them Monitor work progress against schedules and maintain required quality standards Ensure a safe working environment and manage site workers accordingly Assist Construction/Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities and site coordination Prepare, submit, and monitor technical drawings, method statements, and shop drawings to support project delivery Maintain daily records and prepare monthly site progress reports to track project status Manage general on-site technical and engineering matters to ensure compliance and quality control Coordinate works with subcontractors to align activities and schedules Arrange inspections of works to verify quality and compliance Required competencies and certifications Proficient in MS Office to support documentation and reporting tasks Minimum 2 years of site or relevant working experience to perform core site management duties Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field to support technical responsibilities Skills in AutoCAD to assist in technical drawing review and preparation Experience in LTA projects to add value through relevant project exposure
