About this role

Job Location : Loyang near pasir ris Department : Accounts (3 months contract role) My client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Assistant to support our Accounts Department on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining financial records while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of daily accounting activities. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter financial data, including invoices, receipts, payment records, and journal entries into the accounting system. Verify and review accounting documents for completeness and accuracy before data entry. Maintain and update vendor, customer, and financial records in the system. Assist in filing, organizing, and maintaining accounting documents, both electronically and physically. Match invoices with supporting documents and ensure proper record keeping. Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions with data entry and document processing. Perform basic reconciliation of records and identify discrepancies for follow-up. Prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested by the Accounts team. Assist with month-end administrative tasks and other accounting support duties. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records. Perform any other ad hoc administrative duties assigned by the Finance or Accounts team. Requirements Minimum GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in data entry, administration, or accounting support is an advantage. Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or similar systems) will be an added advantage. Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Available to commit to a full-time 3-month contract.
