Job Description Being a social enterprise, City Sprouts believes in bringing people together and inspiring communities through shared green spaces, nature appreciation and education in sustainability. We are on a mission to reconnect individuals with nature, introduce new experiences and cultivate connections between people and their environment. City Sprouts focuses on adaptive reuse of spaces, taking an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to sustainable community-driven development, drawing links from the community to the macro environment. Guided by ABCD, City Sprouts adaptively reuse spaces that are nestled in heartlands or near residential districts. Our flagship farm at Henderson was the former Henderson Secondary School; Punggol sheltered structures showcases green roofs and upcycled shipping containers, an urban farm located within West Coast Park as part of the SECUF program, our Pasir Ris hub within the former Loyang Primary School, and our latest addition at Bedok which was formerly the Kampong Chai Chee CC. In 2027, City Sprouts will be expanding its operations to Pasir Ris Park as part of another SECUF program. In our day-to-day, we run events and programmes for people to connect with nature and learn about eco-friendly lifestyles, as well as learning about the origins of food. Through this, we are also building social resilience and addressing issues of social isolation. As Singapore has revised its 2035 food targets to locally produce 20% of the nation's fibre consumption and 30% of its protein consumption, City Sprouts aim to raise people’s awareness that they too can contribute towards this goal by growing their own foods and supporting local farmers. As we teach communities on picking up eco-friendly and sustainable habits, we also provide a platform for social enterprises, start-ups and community groups to build their capacity and capability and contribute back to society. What Will You Be Doing Oversee City Sprouts’ event venues’ sales and bookings, manage inquiries, conduct venue tours, and run end-to-end venue management operations including payment and coordinating contracts. Coordinate with various teams to manage the schedule and maintenance of the spaces. Conduct satisfaction surveys with clients to improve service and experience provided. Raise standards and quality of our services and products as well as ensure our offerings remain relevant and enticing for clients. Build and maintain relationships with clients, service providers, partners, tenants, and other stakeholders. Who Are We Looking For Diploma / Degree qualifications in Hospitality, Events Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields. A passionate and energetic individual who has experience in managing venues and service providers, with placemaking projects as an added advantage. Someone who enjoys engaging people and building professional relationships. A team player who can show care for team members and give support whenever needed.
