Marine Crew Payroll Specialist

We are partnering with a premier maritime organization looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Crew Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Seamlessly process monthly crew payroll, reimbursements, and allowances for a dynamic workforce of 300+ headcounts . Ensure all payments align strictly with regulations, expertly handling tax clearance matters including the preparation of IR21, IR8A, leave pay, and claims. Support cost allocation and collaborate closely with Finance (Accounts Payable) to ensure timely, flawless postings and resolve any payroll discrepancies. Maintain airtight payroll and supporting records for audit and operational purposes. Compile crew cost data to actively identify variances or irregularities. Partner with Crewing Officers, manning agents, and external vendors to keep operations running like a well-oiled machine. Maintain, update, and help upgrade the company’s payroll software system to drive efficiency. Requirements Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in maritime crewing, crew payroll administration, or high-volume corporate payroll. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with Sage software is highly preferred. Strong numeracy skills, an eagle eye for detail, and the utmost integrity when handling confidential information. A positive attitude with the ability to work independently, manage tight schedules, and collaborate effectively as a team player.
