Corporate Banking Graduate Intern (1 Year)

Job purpose: We are looking for someone to support the Relationships Managers and the Associates on daily operational and administrative matters in Corporate Banking, which includes but not limited to: desktop research on markets industries, sectors, prospect and existing clients and its peers new transactions KYC/AML (new client onboarding and existing client rolling review) preparation of internal and external presentations revenue and profitability reporting maintenance of client information system and any other ad-hoc requirements from the Relationship Managers and/or the Associates. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside seasoned banking professionals and gain exposure to a diverse range of products within Corporate Banking, providing you with a strong foundation to build a career in the industry. We are looking for someone who is: resourceful, proactive, forthcoming with good sense of responsibility team player with good people skills has strong communication skills able to work under certain level of pressure and produce good quality output willing to learn and adapt quickly and someone who have certain ability to anticipate what might be required on certain task given. Compliance relevant: Compliance / Regulatory Adherence to the bank's governance policies and procedures and related Compliance tasks within the 1st Line of Defence concept of the bank. Autonomously stay informed about compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to Relationship Management department. Acting in line with the Code of Conduct and ComWerte and especially uphold the Culture of Integrity at all times. Formal education: Bachelor’s degree (the applicant must have already completed all the courses) Recent graduates with no more than 1 year of professional work experience (excluding internships) Fundamental knowledge in Banking, Finance and/or Accounting is preferred Ability to read and understand financial statements Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) proficiency is required Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification): Previous internship experience in Banking and/or Consulting (preferred but not mandatory) Fluent in English (mandatory), and preferably any other Asian language (Mandarin, Korean, etc) or German to liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as clients.
