Project Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support construction project execution by coordinating site activities, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects to meet schedule and budget targets Monitor site progress and verify that works comply with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve project matters and maintain smooth operations Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure accuracy and feasibility for construction activities Conduct site inspections to verify quality control and enforce safety compliance according to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company policies Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates to support project tracking and decision-making Coordinate timely delivery of materials, manpower allocation, and site activities to optimize resource utilization Identify site issues promptly and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and risks Ensure strict adherence to Singapore construction regulations and safety standards throughout project execution Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination Familiarity with Singapore regulations and safety standards Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills applied in construction project contexts Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in building, infrastructure, LTA, or industrial projects Other Information Salary & Benefits Package (Market Benchmark – Singapore Construction) Salary Range: SGD 4,000 – SGD 6,500 per month (based on experience and project exposure Medical and insurance benefits Annual leave entitlement Transport / mobile allowance for site-based roles Career progression opportunities Working Hours 5 or 5.5-day work week depending on project requirements Interested applicants are to submit a detailed resume stating qualifications, project experience, and expected salary and send to evonong@davyomega.com Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
