PLC Engineer

Well Established Company Basic: $3500 to $5500 + AWS + VB Excellent Welfare and Benefits + Career progression Working location: Northeast Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri) Job Responsibilities: Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC control programs for automation projects. Perform PLC software testing, debugging and factory acceptance testing (FAT). Assist in system integration, commissioning and site implementation. Diagnose and resolve PLC, control system and communication issues. Support HMI and SCADA integration with PLC control systems. Prepare technical documentation including I/O lists, functional descriptions and testing records. Work closely with Project Engineers, System Engineers and customers throughout project execution. Provide technical support during system commissioning and handover. Participate in system upgrades and enhancement projects. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related discipline. Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting or automation systems. Candidates from manufacturing, production, OEM machine builders or industrial automation environments are welcome to apply. Familiar with one or more PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, Beckhoff or Delta. Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Profibus or Ethernet/IP will be an advantage. Able to interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and I/O wiring diagrams. Willing to travel to customer sites for commissioning and project support when required.
