Purchasing Executive

Job Responsibilities: Purchase goods, materials, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery schedules. Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal. Study and analyze product consumption and market development to forecast demand. Negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors. Monitor inventory levels and place orders promptly to ensure supply availability. Track orders to ensure timely delivery. Inspect purchased products upon delivery and report any issues promptly. Verify documents for compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures, and government regulations. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth processes related to products. Track product sales and provide guidelines and support to sales teams to boost sales. Provide cost analysis for new and existing products and review cost reduction activities. Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective communications. Job Requirements: Diploma in Business Administration or similar field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing. Proficient in building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers. Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills. Strong analytical and numerical acumen with demonstrated problem-solving abilities. Capable of performing well under pressure and able to handle emergency and stressful situations effectively. Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday) Work Location: 5 Jalan Tepong, Singapore 619325 (Company transport provided from Lakeside MRT station)
