Import Shipment: Following up on import documents i.e. invoice, packing list and B/L for permit application & GST Forward import documents to forwarder for custom clearance Co-ordinate and liaise with forwarder for trucking in and out of warehouse Ensure that the warehouse clean and wash container before returning to carrier.i.e. take photo. Export Shipment: Liaise with managers for monthly export shipment Source for cheapest freight for export (at least 3 quotes) Co-ordinate and liaise with shipping agents, warehouse staff regarding bookings for the month Follow up with agent on trucking timing IN and OUT. Prepare shipping documents i.e. shipping invoice, packing list and delivery note for the shipment. Scan shipping documents to agents Pass all documents to manager to destock and invoice. Scan and email all documents to respective consignee File all documents Create and update monthly Export report for containers to UK office. Collection: Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers for collections day and time. Co-ordinate and liaise with transport for collections day and time. Create collection note with number for each collection and update the collection note tracker Email the collection note to warehouse staff and transport company Co-ordinate and liaise closely with RR sites regarding empty & filled bins for collections
