About the job Singapore | Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Marine HVAC/R & Ship Supplies to join our Singapore office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and driving sales for marine telecommunication systems and HVAC/R systems, compressors, spare parts, equipment, technical services, and general ship supplies. This role requires a strong understanding of the marine and offshore industry, an established industry network, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities and preparing quotations to securing orders and coordinating project execution. Key Responsibilities • Able to travel locally and overseas for Sales and Business Development purpose • Identify potential customers, develop leads, and convert enquiries into confirmed sales orders. • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives, revenue targets, and market expansion plans. • Promote marine HVAC/R systems, compressors, refrigeration equipment, spare parts, technical services, and ship supplies. • Develop business with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, vessel operators, offshore companies, EPC contractors, and marine service providers. • Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, technical discussions, and product demonstrations where required. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while continuously identifying new business opportunities. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and upcoming marine and offshore projects. • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions. JOB DESCRIPTION Quotations and Commercial Management • Review customer enquiries and prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, technical teams, and service partners to obtain pricing and technical information. • Follow up with customers on quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and project confirmations. • Participate in commercial negotiations and support contract-related discussions. • Ensure that pricing, margins, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions are properly reviewed before order confirmation. • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, enquiry records, quotation status reports, and customer information. Operations and Project Coordination • Coordinate with internal operations, procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely execution of confirmed orders and projects. • Monitor the progress of deliveries, service jobs, vessel attendance, and customer requirements. • Ensure effective communication between customers, suppliers, service engineers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide customers with regular updates on order status, delivery schedules, technical matters, and project progress. • Assist with post-sales support, technical clarifications, warranty matters, and customer feedback. • Ensure project documentation, reports, correspondence, and commercial records are prepared professionally and accurately. • Follow up on outstanding payments and support the finance team with customer collections where required. Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, , Business, or a related discipline. • Equivalent marine industry experience may also be considered. • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience within the Marine, Offshore, Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas, FPSO Commissioning, HVAC/R, marine equipment, or ship supplies sectors. • Good understanding of marine HVAC/R systems, compressors, refrigeration systems, spare parts, technical services, or ship supply operations. • Existing relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, vessel operators, offshore companies, or marine contractors will be a strong advantage. • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop customer accounts, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales. • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills. • Commercially minded, target-driven, and results-oriented. • Able to understand technical requirements and communicate effectively with customers, engineers, suppliers, and service teams. • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously.…
