Applications Engineer – Actuators

Key Responsibilities Application Engineering & Technical Support Provide technical expertise on electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuator systems. Interpret customer process requirements and recommend suitable actuator and valve automation solutions. Perform actuator sizing, product selection, and prepare technical proposals, datasheets, and engineering documentation. Conduct site visits, troubleshoot technical issues, and support installation, commissioning, and start-up activities. Customer & Project Support Act as the technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, working closely with customers, consultants, contractors, and engineering teams. Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Support project execution by providing technically sound and cost-effective engineering solutions. Liaise with overseas principals to resolve technical queries and obtain engineering support. Technical Training & Knowledge Sharing Deliver product training and technical presentations for customers, consultants, and internal teams. Develop technical documentation including application guides, product comparisons, case studies, and engineering reference materials. Support technical marketing initiatives by contributing to product literature, presentations, and educational content. Product & Market Development Maintain up-to-date knowledge of actuator technologies, industry standards, and market developments. Evaluate new products and technologies to support future portfolio growth. Monitor competitor offerings and provide recommendations to strengthen the company's product range. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
