As an expert consultant to bakeries, you will oversee various aspects of production, recipe development and quality control to ensure the creation of high-quality pastry/ bread products. Your role will involve both operational management and innovation to drive consistency, creativity and will also contribute to the company's growth and menu items that appeal to a diverse customers' base. Key Responsibilities: ✱ Quality & Monitoring • Regularly monitor and assess the quality of the buns and other bakery products produced in the central kitchen and distributed across various outlets. • Implement and oversee stringent quality control measures to ensure consistency and adherence to company's standards. ✱ Training & Staff Development • Conduct training sessions for bakers and other production staffs to ensure consistent quality in all products. • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to bakery staffs, reinforcing best practices in both production techniques and product presentation. ✱ Recipe Development & Innovation • Collaborate with the team to create and propose new recipes, flavours and designs for buns and other bakery products, enhancing the overall menu offering. • Innovate with new ideas for season or specialty products to increase variety and appeal, helping to meet or exceed the company sales targets. ✱ Product Promotion & Implementation • Take the lead on implementing, promoting and improving new and existing product lines, ensuring they align with market trends and customers' preferences. • Assist in creating promotional strategies that highlight new items, leveraging their potential to boost sales. ✱ Production Support & Crisis Management • Stand in as a baker and resume full production duties during emergencies or staffing shortages, ensuring that operations continue smoothly without compromising quality. ✱ Collaborate & Continuous Improvement • Work closely with bakery management to continue assess production processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring efficient operations of high product quality. • Offer ongoing support for recipe testing, ingredient sourcing and production enhancement. Job Requirements: • SINGAPOREANS ONLY • Extensive experience in baking, pastry arts or related fields, with focus on high-quality production and recipe development. • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor, train and inspire bakery staffs. • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, food safety standards and production efficiency. • Creative mindset with a passion of developing new recipes and bakery innovations. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Able to commit shifts as early as 1am (Transport will be claimable for staffs who are residing within west area).
