Global Innovation Education Group (GIEG) is seeking a creative and pedagogically grounded Curriculum Developer & Instructional Writer to lead the creation of a 30-module AI Literacy English Storybook Series . In this role, you will bridge future-ready technology skills with engaging narrative storytelling. Each 10-page storybook will translate core AI concepts into accessible, age-appropriate English reading materials tailored for young learners, strictly aligned with the Ministry of Education (MOE) 21st Century Competencies (21CC) framework. Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Story Writing: Design and write 30 modules of 10-page English storybooks that seamlessly integrate foundational AI literacy (e.g., prompt engineering, machine learning basics, ethics in AI, and digital citizenship) into engaging narratives. MOE 21CC Alignment: Ensure every module incorporates MOE’s 21st Century Competencies (Critical & Inventive Thinking, Civic Literacy, Global Awareness, Communication, and Information Skills). Pedagogical Structuring: Develop accompanying learning objectives, vocabulary lists, discussion prompts, and reflection activities for teachers/parents for each storybook. Design & Illustration Briefing: Collaborate with graphics/media designers to provide visual prompts, character beats, and layout guides for every 10-page story arc. Quality Assurance: Review and refine content to ensure age-appropriate language, engaging pacing, and accurate AI concepts. Requirements Background in Education/Curriculum Design: Diploma or Degree in Education, English Literature, Linguistics, Curriculum & Teaching, or equivalent. Ex-MOE teachers or experienced curriculum writers for primary/early childhood levels are strongly preferred. Strong Pedagogical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with MOE's 21st Century Competency Framework and Singapore's English language learning standards. Creative Writing & Storytelling Talent: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts (AI, technology, ethics) through fun, relatable storytelling and memorable characters. Attention to Detail: Excellent command of English grammar, tone, and pacing suitable for young learners. Project Management Skills: Ability to work independently and deliver completed modules against structured milestones.
