About this role
Key Responsibilities Provide operational support and deployment services for customers' cloud infrastructure and environments. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues across cloud-scale and backbone network infrastructures. Support and maintain Software-Defined Networking (SDN) services and cloud networking solutions, including Azure Front Door (AFD), Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection, Domain Name System (DNS), ExpressRoute, and related services. Participate in standby and on-call rotations to provide after-hours operational support when required. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centre environments for the Senior Engineer position. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centre environments for the Lead position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and business functions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and proven experience managing or leading technical teams will be advantageous for the Lead role. Technical Skills: Programming & Scripting Proficiency in Kusto, Java, Python, and Perl. Operating Systems: Strong hands-on experience with L inux-based operating systems. Cloud & Network Technologies: Experience with virtual networking technologies, including SDN , Virtual Networks (VNet), DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, and Load Balancers. Data Formats: Familiarity with machine-readable data formats such as JSON and XML. Certifications: Relevant networking certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP is a plus. Network Automation & Security: Practical experience in network automation, infrastructure orchestration, and network security operations.
