Robotics Instructor / Roboticist Company: GoalSetterz Business Solutions Pte Ltd Job Type: Full-Time, Contract Work Location: Bedok (School Environment) Contract Period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027 Roles & Responsibilities GoalSetterz Business Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Robotics Instructor / Roboticist to support a school's Robotics and Innovation programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing robotics resources, coaching students, supporting teachers, and promoting innovation through robotics education. Key Responsibilities Manage the school's robotics asset inventory, including stock-taking, loaning, and returning of robotics equipment. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Innovation Studio. Conduct robotics lessons, workshops, sharing sessions, and training for students and school staff. Prepare robotics teaching materials, lesson plans, presentation slides, worksheets, and handouts. Coach, mentor, and guide students in robotics projects and innovation activities. Prepare and accompany students for robotics competitions, exhibitions, and external events. Research and recommend new robotics technologies, tools, and learning resources to enhance teaching and learning. Liaise with robotics suppliers and vendors regarding equipment, maintenance, and procurement. Monitor students' progress and provide regular updates to the Head of Department (Science). Assist with video editing, photo editing, multimedia content creation, and other school projects when required. Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (Science) or the School Management. Job Requirements Qualifications Must be registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) as an Instructor. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in coaching robotics to children and/or adults. Experience in preparing students for robotics competitions is required. Certified in robotics building-block platforms (e.g. LEGO® Education, VEX IQ, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of robotics, coding, STEM education, and innovation programmes. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills. Passionate about teaching and mentoring students. Good classroom and student management skills. Strong organisational and planning abilities. Able to work independently and collaboratively with teachers and school staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of basic photo and video editing is an advantage. Working Hours Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays. Working hours may be adjusted based on school operational requirements. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an added advantage: Coaching students for national or international robotics competitions. Teaching robotics, coding, STEM, AI, or maker education. Managing robotics laboratories or innovation studios. Working in MOE schools or educational institutions. Why Join Us?
