Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven, strategic, and technically adept Sales Manager for our client in the Industrial Automation sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, and managing key client relationships across manufacturing, industrial industries, and system integrators. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of industrial automation ecosystems, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of converting technical solutions into commercial success. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within key manufacturing, process, and industrial automation verticals. Manage and expand long-term commercial relationships with existing major accounts, system integrators, OEMs, and end-users. Drive proactive sales activities including cold calling, on-site customer visits, and participating in industry events to generate high-quality leads and uncover new business opportunities. Drive the overall sales strategy to maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing, while maintaining a robust pipeline and delivering accurate revenue forecasts. Provide leadership guidance to sales engineer / account managers. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging automation technologies to continuously refine the market strategy. Conduct pricing analysis and monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing structures that maximize profitability and market share. Collaborate with internal engineers to prepare accurate costing and technical documents for clients. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (A business degree with extensive technical experience will also be considered). Minimum of 8-10 years of successful sales or business development experience specifically within the Industrial Automation industry. Possess a car and class 3/3A driving license Strong familiarity with leading industrial automation brands and hardware/software architectures [e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi Electric]. An established network of local system integrators, OEMs, and end-users within Asia. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions to both engineers and C-level executives.
