Quantity Surveyor (Landscape)

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in landscape or construction projects. Experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control. Good knowledge of landscape construction materials, methods, and specifications. Familiar with measurement, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and contract documents. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and quantity surveying software. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Able to work independently and meet project deadlines. Job Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and project specifications. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for landscape projects. Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate pricing. Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts. Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget. Review contracts and identify commercial risks. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective procurement. Evaluate and certify subcontractors' progress claims. Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual and commercial matters. Maintain accurate records of project costs, claims, and contract documentation.
