About the Role We are seeking a proactive and analytical Assistant Relationship Manager to support the Corporate Banking team in managing relationships with corporate clients, with a focus on commodity financing, trade finance and corporate lending. This role offers exposure to relationship management, credit analysis, trade finance, KYC compliance and cross-border banking, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in Corporate Banking. Key Responsibilities Support Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate banking clients by providing day-to-day account servicing and relationship support. Perform financial spreading, credit analysis and prepare credit proposals to support lending decisions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and overseas offices to facilitate credit approvals, transaction execution and client servicing. Respond promptly to client enquiries and assist in resolving operational and credit-related issues. Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), KYC reviews and periodic account reviews in accordance with the Bank’s compliance framework and regulatory requirements. Assist in monitoring client documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct industry research, particularly within the commodity sector, to identify market trends and support portfolio risk assessment. Participate in trade finance and trade digitalisation initiatives, including process improvement and project implementation. Support the preparation of reports, presentations and other departmental documentation. Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head from time to time. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant Corporate Banking experience , preferably as an Assistant Relationship Manager or Corporate Banking Associate. Experience in credit analysis, corporate lending, trade finance or syndicated loans will be an advantage. Exposure to commodity financing or commodity-related industries is preferred. Good understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements applicable to Corporate Banking. Strong financial analysis and credit writing skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
