Airfreight Export Executive (Aog / Aircraft On Ground)

Key Responsibilities Operations & Shipment Management Manage end-to-end AOG and non-AOG air export shipments from booking through to flight departure and final delivery . Coordinate with airlines, co-loaders, and GSAs to secure cargo space for urgent export shipments, often requiring rapid decision-making . Arrange and dispatch freight, including coordinating trucking and ground transport . Process and prepare export documentation, including House and Master Air Waybills (AWBs), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs/regulatory paperwork . Track and trace shipments in real-time, proactively providing updates to customers and overseas offices . Customer Service & Communication Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, handling high volumes of email and phone inquiries with urgency . Provide timely quotations, convert them into live jobs, and follow up to secure business . Build and maintain strong customer relationships to meet and exceed service level expectations . Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, overseas Expeditors offices, and internal teams . Compliance & Documentation Ensure full compliance with internal policies, external government regulations (e.g., customs, security), and customer-specific requirements . Prepare and submit export declarations (e.g., EEIs) and ensure accurate customs clearance documentation . Maintain accurate records of all air freight activities, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics . Systems & Billing Perform accurate and timely data entry into freight forwarding operating systems (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, AS400) . Ensure accurate and timely client billing in accordance with KPIs . Monitor reports and maintain customer data within company systems . Qualifications & Requirements Experience Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight operations, export documentation, or customer service, specifically within freight forwarding .
