Senior/ M&E Coordinator (Construction)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized M&E Coordinator to support the M&E Engineer and ensure smooth execution of M&E works on construction projects. Responsibilities Assist the Site Quantity Surveyor by providing accurate information to prepare work-in-progress claims and variation works Review structural, architectural, and M&E drawings together to identify and resolve coordination conflicts or problems Issue relevant structural and architectural drawings to M&E sub-contractors for preparing their shop drawings and provide any amendment drawings, sketches, or information promptly Communicate with sub-contractors to clarify discrepancies in their drawings and regularly update consultants and the Project Manager until issues are resolved Monitor and control M&E subcontractors’ progress to prevent delays to other trades and ensure timely completion of works Coordinate with M&E sub-contractors on producing structural penetration drawings and cast-in items, and report these provisions to the Project Engineer during technical meetings
