About this role
We are looking for a committed and proactive Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator to support the implementation of workplace safety and health initiatives across our construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with WSH regulations and promote a strong safety culture on-site. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing and monitoring Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures on site. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions. Support the preparation and review of Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation. Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, MOM regulations, and company safety policies. Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and orientation for workers and subcontractors. Monitor corrective actions and follow up on safety observations, incidents, and near misses. Maintain WSH records, inspection reports, training records, and statutory documentation. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters. Assist the WSH Officer/Manager in safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Job Requirements Diploma/NITEC in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health, or a related discipline. Possess a valid Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator (WSHC) Certificate recognised by MOM. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Familiar with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, WSH Regulations, and Code of Practice. Good knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams. Added Advantage: Experience with A1 Main Contractors. Experience in residential, A&A, or redevelopment projects. Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
