Drone Pilot (UAV Operations & Technical Support) Company Overview We are a fast-growing Singapore-based aviation technology company specialising in aircraft maintenance and commercial unmanned aircraft solutions. We work with clients and industry partners to deploy drones for applications such as infrastructure inspection, defect detection, aerial data collection and traffic monitoring. As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a technically inclined and safety-conscious Drone Pilot to join our team. Role Overview The Drone Pilot will support the setup, operation, testing and maintenance of unmanned aircraft systems. You will participate in commercial drone projects, assist with flight preparation and operate various drone platforms and payload systems according to approved procedures and safety requirements. This role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career candidates who are interested in aviation, drone technology and hands-on technical work. Training and support will be provided for the selected candidate to obtain the relevant unmanned aircraft qualifications and certifications. Salary : S$2,500 to S$3,300 per month Working Days : Monday to Friday Working Hours : Standard office hours Work Arrangement : Fully onsite, with deployment to project sites when required Location : Singapore (Bishan Area) Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct commercial drone operations for infrastructure inspection, defect detection, aerial data collection, traffic monitoring and other assigned projects. Perform pre-flight preparations, including site assessments, mission planning, equipment checks and operational risk assessments. Set up, configure, calibrate and test drones, ground control systems, sensors, cameras and other payload equipment before deployment. Operate unmanned aircraft safely and responsibly in accordance with company procedures, project requirements and applicable regulatory requirements. Monitor flight conditions and equipment performance throughout each operation. Complete post-flight checks, flight records, maintenance logs and operational documentation accurately. Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing standard operating procedures for drone operations. Support the integration of drone hardware, electrical components, sensors and payload systems. Perform equipment and engineering system setup, testing and calibration. Diagnose and troubleshoot drone hardware, software, connectivity and control-system issues. Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and functional testing to ensure equipment remains operational. Assist with trial flights, demonstrations, testing activities and project deployment. Work closely with project, engineering and operations teams to ensure assignments are completed safely and according to schedule. Maintain proper accountability and storage of drones, batteries, tools and related equipment. Perform other operational or technical duties assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related discipline is preferred but not compulsory. Candidates from other academic disciplines with a demonstrated interest in aviation, drone technology or unmanned aircraft operations are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in developing a long-term career in commercial drone operations and aviation technology. Good technical aptitude with an interest in mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. Able to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, schematics and operating instructions. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness and situational judgement. Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project and technical teams. Comfortable working at outdoor project sites and travelling within Singapore when required. Able to communicate clearly and maintain accurate operational and technical records. Willing to undergo the required training, assessments and licensing processes for commercial unmanned aircraft operations. Advantageous Skills and Experience Existing Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence or relevant drone-related certification.
