Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Assistant to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end shipment activities, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting warehouse operations to facilitate smooth and timely dispatch of goods. Key Responsibilities 1. Shipment Coordination & Processing Arrange and coordinate both local and international shipments. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, couriers, and transport providers. Schedule pickups, deliveries, and shipment timelines. Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or delivery issues. 2. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and verify shipping documents including: Bill of Lading (B/L) Commercial Invoice Packing List Airway Bill (AWB) Certificate of Origin Import / Export permits Customs declarations Ensure all documentation complies with customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and internal SOPs. 3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination Coordinate with warehouse teams on packing, labelling, inventory preparation, and stock dispatch planning. Verify shipment quantities and product specifications prior to dispatch. Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding Diploma / ITE holders are welcomed to apply Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs procedures. Proficient in MS Office; experience with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
