Chinese Language Teacher (Part Time)

Job Summary Teach Chinese language courses for Pre-school to Primary school levels, following the school curriculum. Engage with students and parents to monitor progress and maintain a positive learning environment. Responsibilities Deliver Chinese language lessons for Pre-school to Primary school students according to the school curriculum Communicate with parents to provide updates on student progress and address concerns Manage classroom activities and time effectively to ensure smooth lesson flow Perform simple daily upkeep tasks to maintain a conducive learning environment Utilize new technologies and teaching equipment to enhance lesson delivery Adapt work schedule to include afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and positive team environment Required competencies and certifications Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or Master Degree in Education, Teaching, Linguistics, Chinese Languages, or an equivalent field Have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in teaching or related roles Preferred competencies and qualifications Demonstrate passion for teaching and engaging with children and parents Exhibit patience, responsibility, and a positive, cheerful attitude Show strong interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin Ability to manage flexible work arrangements including weekend and afternoon shifts Other Information Highlights Long and established brand in Singapore Friendly and positive working environment
