Our kitchens are led by an Executive Chef with extensive international experience across London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, bringing world-class culinary standards to every concept under the Group. The Role We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie (Chinese Cuisine) to lead a section of our kitchen at our Dempsey outlet. The ideal candidate is proficient in wok cooking — an essential technique for preparing many of our signature Chinese dishes — and has strong command of traditional Chinese culinary methods, with the experience and confidence to take ownership of a station. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of an assigned kitchen station, ensuring dishes are prepared and cooked to the restaurant's quality and consistency standards, with strong command of wok techniques (wok hei, stir-frying, flash-frying, etc.) Guide and supervise Cooks and junior kitchen staff at the station, ensuring proper technique, plating, and timing Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu execution, dish development, and maintaining consistency across services Oversee mise en place, food preparation, and organisation for the assigned station Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and safety standards are upheld at all times Manage inventory, stock rotation, and ordering for the assigned station Coordinate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours Train and mentor junior cooks within the station Requirements Prior experience as a Chef de Partie or senior Cook in a Chinese restaurant or tze-char establishment strongly preferred Proficient in wok cooking techniques Proven ability to lead a station and guide junior kitchen staff Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and hygiene practices Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed What We Offer Opportunity to work under an Executive Chef with international culinary experience (London, Singapore, Hong Kong) Career growth within a growing F&B group with multiple concepts Staff meals and other benefits as per company policy
