RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the test automation strategy for our printer firmware products. You will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts across Web UI, Printer UI, and APIs to ensure high-quality, stable product releases. If you are passionate about software quality, love finding edge cases, and have hands-on experience with Python-based automation frameworks, we want to hear from you! Design, develop, maintain and execute Web UI/Printer UI/API automated test scripts for HP Printer firmware. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test automation strategies. Review and analyze test results to ensure high-quality releases. Continuously improve test processes and strategies for product quality and efficiency. Use Git for version control and code collaboration. Participate in weekly meetings to report task progress and discuss current challenges. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field. 3 years of proven professional experience working as an Automation Test Engineer, Software QA Engineer, or a similar capacity. Core Technical Skills: High proficiency in Python programming. Strong hands-on experience with Pytest for robust API testing. Proven track record using Selenium for Web UI automation. Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, automation tools, testing frameworks, and overall lifecycle processes. Familiarity with Git or similar distributed version control systems.
