Senior / Mechanical Engineer

COMPANY DESCRIPTION Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and supervise a group of technicians and manage contractors in the execution of refinery maintenance activities. Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as planned, monitor progress and performance of critical equipment and conduct failure analysis and implement recommendations for reliability improvement. Develop and implement work plans, including purchase requisitions, selection/evaluation of contractors, as well as maintenance activities scheduling and costing. Supervise, audit and carry out timely updates of equipment data & maintenance information. Develop and conduct Risk Assessments, safety training, work procedures etc. Participate in project review to identify maintenance aspects/impact on project. QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. OTHER INFORMATION 2 years' experience in maintenance of plant equipment, preferably in oil refinery/petrochemical or related industries. Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level position. Good knowledge of computerized system for routine and TAR maintenance.
