The Role This role supports the Group's financial consolidation and reporting functions by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and effective collaboration with finance teams across the Group. Key accountabilities Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Group financial consolidation, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reporting. Review and analyse the financial results of subsidiaries, identifying variances and ensuring the quality and integrity of information submitted for Group reporting. Liaise with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements and resolve reporting issues. Assist in researching and evaluating accounting issues, recommending appropriate accounting treatments in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Group accounting policies. Support the implementation and alignment of Group accounting policies and reporting requirements across subsidiaries. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual Group audit, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting the completion of audited consolidated financial statements. Follow up on audit findings and monitor the timely resolution of audit recommendations. Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, system enhancements and other ad hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification or membership (e.g. CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent). At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or external audit. Prior experience in Group financial consolidation within a multinational or large corporate environment will be an advantage. Good understanding of financial consolidation principles and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). Analytical, detail-oriented and able to identify and resolve complex accounting issues. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Group. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial consolidation systems such as IBM Cognos Controller, Tagetik, Oracle or similar platforms will be an advantage.
