Project Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of turn-key cable infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in various project phases, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in managing all phases of cable infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, trenching, cable laying, jointing, and testing. Support in preparing invoices, progress reports, and necessary documentation. Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Report to and take instructions from the Project Manager Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safe work practices. Prepare incident reports and assist in the preparation of Operation & Maintenance (OMM) manuals upon project completion. Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field. Fresh graduates with a strong passion for engineering are encouraged to apply or relavant experience in project engineering within the electrical or civil engineering sectors. Understanding of the practical application of engineering principles and techniques. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
