Facility Manager

Job Summary Lead and manage commercial high-rise, campus, or property portfolios by overseeing leasing, construction, engineering, and building operations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities Manage commercial high-rise, campus, or property portfolios to ensure efficient building operations and maintenance Develop and implement programs to reduce cost inefficiencies across property management functions Oversee leasing, construction, and engineering activities to maintain and improve property standards Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems to ensure optimal performance and safety Track financial performance by managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for property operations Interpret construction specifications, blueprints, management agreements, and contract language to guide operational decisions Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Work Order Management tools to coordinate maintenance activities Apply strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare reports and presentations Leverage knowledge of financial systems such as Yardi to support financial tracking and management Preferred competencies and qualifications Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or certifications from International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) or Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Experience with critical system environments Experience in leasing, construction, engineering, and all facets of property operation and building management Experience in developing and implementing cost-saving programs Other engineering, business, or technical training or certifications
