Cpp Shipbroker

We are looking for an experienced CPP Shipbroker to join an established international maritime organisation. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with experience in the CPP, DPP, or Chemical tanker markets who enjoys developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Experienced Tanker Operators with a strong understanding of the tanker market and an interest in moving into shipbroking are also encouraged to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and industry stakeholders. Develop new business opportunities while growing existing client accounts. Negotiate and conclude fixtures, ensuring commercially favourable outcomes for clients. Monitor freight market developments, cargo movements, and vessel availability to identify opportunities. Provide timely market updates, freight assessments, and commercial advice to clients. Work closely with internal teams to support market research and business development initiatives. Maintain accurate records of fixtures, market activity, and client interactions using internal systems. Represent the company professionally at client meetings and industry events. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in tanker shipping, with exposure to CPP, DPP, or Chemical tanker markets. Candidates with shipbroking experience are preferred. Experienced Tanker Operators who are keen to transition into a commercial shipbroking role are also encouraged to apply. Good understanding of tanker market dynamics, chartering practices, and voyage economics. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Confident communicator with good negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment. Existing network within the tanker shipping industry will be an advantage but is not essential for candidates with strong operational experience.
