We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager specialising in satellite communications . This position will be responsible for driving business development and sales of maritime satellite subscription and airtime services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales network within the maritime industry, established relationships with shipowners and ship managers, and a sound understanding of maritime satellite communication services. Key Responsibilities · Develop and implement business development plans and sales strategies for satellite subscription and airtime services, aligned with the business unit’s objectives. · Identify new business opportunities and engage prospective customers to understand their operational and connectivity requirements. · Drive revenue growth and profitability by executing sales plans and achieving assigned sales targets. · Prepare and present quotations, commercial proposals, and sales presentations, and follow up closely to secure new business. · Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop high-quality solutions and proposals tailored to customers’ needs. · Provide pre-sales consultation and coordinate after-sales support to ensure a positive customer experience. · Work closely with the Technical Manager to facilitate the effective sales, delivery, and implementation of systems and services. · Coordinate with the Network Support team to address customer enquiries and resolve service-related matters. · Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, including shipowners and ship managers. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maritime Connectivity Solutions. Requirements · Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. · 4–8 years of relevant sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. · Experience in the maritime industry, with knowledge of maritime satellite communication, connectivity, or airtime services. · An established sales network and customer contacts among shipowners, ship managers, and other maritime stakeholders would be advantageous. · Previous experience as a Radio Officer would be an added advantage. · Strong business acumen, customer relationship management, and negotiation skills. · Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. · Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to collaborate effectively with product, technical, and support teams.
