Role Overview We are looking for a skilledGo (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and work directly at thecustomer site. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, andmaintaining high-performance backend services and APIs using Go. The idealcandidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, andefficient applications and be comfortable working in a fast-paced client-facingenvironment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, andmaintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go (Golang) code. - Develop RESTful APIs andbackend services for integration with frontend and third-party systems. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and frontend engineers to deliverrobust solutions. - Participate in code reviewsand contribute to best practices in Go development. - Optimize applications formaximum speed, scalability, and performance. - Debug and troubleshootproduction issues and provide timely resolutions. - Contribute to technicaldocumentation and maintain version control using Git. - Work closely withcustomer’s technical teams to align deliverables and ensure smooth integrationwith existing systems. Qualifications Required Skills andExperience - 1–5 years of hands-onexperience in backend development using Go (Golang). - Good understanding ofconcurrency, goroutines, and Go channels. - Experience with RESTful APIdesign and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with SQL/NoSQLdatabases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). - Experience withcontainerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. - Knowledge of cloudplatforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred. - Good understanding ofsoftware design patterns, testing frameworks, and version control (Git). - Strong analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a customer environment. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Prior experience workingon-site with enterprise clients or within large-scale distributed systems. - Prior experience working asa Go-lang developer. - Exposure to agilemethodologies and sprint-based delivery cycles.
