At Humpback, we believe great hospitality is about bringing people together over fresh seafood, thoughtful wines, and genuine connections. As our Hospitality Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring your team to create memorable dining experiences while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a positive team culture. The Role Lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest. Foster a warm, welcoming, and convivial atmosphere by delivering genuine hospitality from the heart. Maintain a clean, organised, and polished venue that reflects Humpback's standards. Ensure the Group's service standards, operating procedures, and quality expectations are consistently understood and upheld by the team. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through on-the-job training, orientation, regular feedback, and performance coaching. Lead by example in cultivating a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Support the Operations Manager in administrative responsibilities, including rostering, leave planning, purchasing, inventory management, and manpower planning. Identify opportunities to improve service, operations, and guest satisfaction, and proactively implement solutions. Champion the Group's Core Values, creating an environment where team members feel supported, empowered, and motivated to grow. What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience in a restaurant environment. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others. Calm, organised, and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Positive, hands-on, and leads by example. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including service, staffing, inventory, and cost management. A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with both Front of House and Kitchen teams.
