Purchaser (5 Day Woodland)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM (Monday to Friday) Responsibilities: Responsible for full purchasing functions. Check purchasing documents to ensure correctness and adequacy. Prepare, issue, and monitor requisitions & purchase orders; ensure that purchase order balances are accurate and parts are delivered on time. Follow up on purchases to ensure timely delivery, and monitor the delivery performance of vendors. Maintain and update the approved vendor list. Recommend quality improvement measures to the immediate superior. Prepare material plans. Work closely with other departments to ensure quality parts are delivered and maintain a continuous flow of materials as per production requirements. Visit suppliers as needed to verify and resolve any problems or issues encountered. Coordinate and act as a mediator between suppliers and planners concerning forecasts and delivery plans according to the customer's required schedule. Job Requirements: Minimum ITE certification in a relevant field. At least 2 years of relevant purchasing experience, preferably within the plastic moulding or related industry. Strong communication and mediation skills to coordinate effectively with external vendors and internal departments.
