Assistant Project Manager

Due to expansion, we are seeking for a Asst. Project Manager to join our team. Our perfect candidate should possess the following: • Can do attitude and willing to learn • Ability to work independently with initiative • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate • Responsible and having integrity as safety is our priority Job scope · Oversees whole operation team on site by planning out day to day site activities including supervision of workers and coordinating with client’s staff · Perform overall quality control of operations from start to finish (budget, schedule, planning etc.) and report to Director on project status · Able to handle certifications (MOM, AE, PE, COS) would be an advantage. · Execution of work and reporting of project work progress to Project Manager. · Managing work schedule and resolving any disputes with workers · Ensure work is carried out within allocated time schedule while following safety protocols and maintaining quality · Keep daily site records for manpower, materials and work status · Attend necessary site/internal meetings when required as well as client feedback or complaints · Other ad-hoc duties when required · Must be able to read AutoCAD drawings Requirements: · Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering background. · 2 years proven work experience in construction of high-rise buildings. · Knowledge in suspended scaffolding systems is highly advantageous. · Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD. · Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards in Singapore Construction Industry · Ability to handle multiple projects, tight timelines and pressure · Project management and supervision skills · Ability to make decisions and possess leadership skills · Time Management and organizational skills is of outmost importance · 14days annual leave for first 2 years of continuous service, additional 1 day annual leave thereafter per completed year of employment to max of 21 days.
