What you will do: As a Service Sales Engineer focused on selling service agreements, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients, understand their needs, and propose tailored service agreements that ensure the optimal performance and longevity of their equipment. You will work closely with our service delivery, operations, sales and technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to our revenue growth. How You Will Do It: Customer Engagement: Identify potential clients and develop a deep understanding of their equipment and maintenance needs. Solution Development: Collaborate with technical teams to design service agreement proposals that align with clients' requirements and budget constraints. Presentation: Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits of our service agreements. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions to secure service agreement contracts, ensuring they are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for service agreements. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to adapt your sales approach effectively. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements to the sales manager. Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of our services, products, and the technical aspects of the service agreements offered What We Look For: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline preferred, Alternatively, candidates shall possess at least 5 years’ experience in technical sales and/or hands-on experience, in either Line of Business - HVAC, BAS/BMS, Fire, or Security, Experience working with Facilities Management providers, government agencies, healthcare, education, commercial buildings, or critical infrastructure customers will be advantageous. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven negotiation and influencing skills, with experience managing commercial discussions and contract negotiations with customers and vendors, Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, service delivery, and leadership teams. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Sales force and structured sales methodologies (e.g., BANT, SPIN, Challenger Sales), Comfortable conducting customer site visits and travelling within Singapore as required, Demonstrates a growth mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
