Corporate Legal Specialist

Job Description: - Manage contracts depository - Draft and/or review contracts, legal documents and correspondences - Support in the negotiation of contracts and transactions - Provide advice to stakeholders on risks and legal issues - Monitoring and identifying legal issues as and when they arise and recommend course of action - Support in dispute resolution and legal proceedings as and when they arise - Provide training to stakeholders - Support in the implementation of Personal Data Protection Act or equivalent in affiliates within the Asia region - Coordinate and collaborate with external legal advisers and internal departments when the need arises - Support in legal research - Support ISO and ISCC related matters - Support in compliance related matters and corporate governance matters - Attend to any other ad-hoc administrative, legal and compliance matters Job Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of in-house corporate legal working experience in similar or related industry - Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) / Diploma holder in legal studies or law and management (or equivalent) - Fluent in English to review contracts and communicate with clients in Asia region - Proficiency in Chinese language is a plus point to review contracts in Chinese language and/or liaise with Chinese speaking clients. - Attention to detail and meticulous - Strong sense of responsibility and initiative - Good understanding in Company Law, Contract Law and data privacy law - Ability to conduct legal research - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Good drafting and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation: - Work location: Central, Singapore - Working hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:20PM - Hybrid work arrangement - Annual Performance Bonus - Monthly allowance - Annual leave and Medical leave - Medical benefits and Group Insurance
