Senior Accounting Executive / Am (Japanese Speaking)

About Company: Our client was incorporated in 2016. It is a professional services firm that provides tax, accounting, and business consulting services to local and international clients operating in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. Their business encompasses a range of services, including cross-border business structuring, M&A advisory, regional expansion strategies, and transfer pricing matters, among others. Job Description: - Conduct Financial Due Diligence (FDD), financial fact-finding, and internal control investigations - Support M&A related projects, including valuation and Post-Merger Integration (PMI) - Prepare month-end closing and annual financial statements for clients - Liaise effectively with clients, auditors, and tax agents to ensure service standards and reporting deadlines are met - Other ad hoc duties/projects as assigned by the company Job Requirements: - Accounting qualifications are highly preferred (not strictly mandatory, but strong capabilities in finance and tax) - At least 3 years of experience in an audit firm or relevant experience handling FDD - Familiar with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) - Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above to liaise with Japanese clients (possess ability and willingness to communicate directly with Japanese clients) - Basic knowledge of Excel and Word - Willingness and flexibility to travel for business trips to neighboring countries (e.g., Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.) for specific projects needs at approximately once every 2 - 3 months - A highly cooperative team player with excellent communication skills - Independent, organized, and able to work harmoniously with colleagues Compensation: - Working location: CBD, Singapore - Working hours: Monday to Friday 9AM - 6PM - AWS Entitlement and Performance bonus - Annual leave and Medical leave - Medical benefits and Overseas Travel Allowance - A career opportunity to work alongside accounting and taxation professionals - Overseas business trips opportunity with diverse working culture - Career progression opportunity
