Job Description Job Summary Support data centre construction programs and fit-out projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project milestones, and ensuring high-quality, safe workmanship from planning through handover. Responsibilities Support project managers on data centre construction, retrofit, upgrades, fit-out, and pilot/special projects to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes Serve as the technical point of contact for local and cross-functional teams including Engineering and IT Operations Manage end-to-end fit-out works on site, from planning through handover, ensuring alignment with project goals Identify and resolve technical issues promptly or escalate when necessary to maintain project timelines and budgets Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality workmanship requirements Communicate project goals, progress, and updates clearly to stakeholders to maintain engagement Coordinate teams across multiple offices and time zones to align priorities and deliverables Facilitate kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and conduct regular site walks to monitor project status Track and report key milestones from technical fit-out commencement to completion for smooth handover to Operations Lead weekly management and site meetings with general contractors, architects/engineers, and telecom contractors Collaborate with local construction project managers to synchronize site management and priorities Manage ordering, delivery, and storage of owner-purchased materials and parts required for data centre turn-ups Review and track contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines Perform inspections, surveys, and regular site walks to maintain project quality and progress Maintain checklists and trackers, raise punch items, and drive punch list clearance to close out projects Demonstrate client-focused communication by effectively engaging and persuading stakeholders Analyze project risks and develop solutions with mitigating actions to prevent delays or issues Collaborate actively with clients, contractors, and vendors to manage expectations and deliverables Apply environmental, sustainability, and health and safety principles consistently throughout projects Foster a continuous improvement mindset to enhance project processes and outcomes Preferred competencies and qualifications Technical candidate with at least 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or project/construction management Post-graduate degree in engineering, construction, or project/construction management is a strong advantage Experience managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders, and priorities with various project milestones Detail-oriented and organized approach to project management Ability to think critically, analyze problems, and solve issues effectively under high-pressure situations Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet specified deadlines Proficiency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively in a professional environment Other Information Location: Singapore At JLL, we empower your ambitions through an entrepreneurial and inclusive work environment, competitive pay, and a dedicated Total Rewards Program to help you realize your full potential.
