Production Manager (Construction)

Company's Profile Julian Grey's client is an established engineering firm with strong regional presence, known for delivering high-profile projects and advanced technical consulting expertise. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of outputs. Plan and monitor production schedules, coordinating closely with internal teams to support project and operational requirements. Lead and supervise production staff, ensuring optimal manpower utilisation, productivity, and adherence to performance targets. Ensure compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and workplace safety regulations across all operations. Optimize production processes, machinery usage, and material flow to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor production progress, maintenance of equipment, and prepare reports to support management decision-making. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment in the construction industry. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Strong understanding of fabrication processes and workflow planning. Familiarity with production equipment, machinery operations, and maintenance practices. Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection processes. Good understanding of workplace safety practices and compliance requirements. Basic ability to interpret technical drawings or plans; familiarity with design or production software is an advantage. Comfortable working in a production or yard-based environment.
