Tender Engineer

Summary Julian Grey’s client is an established company in the construction sector. Responsibilities Review and summarise tender enquiries, including basic technical requirements, site-related information and tender scope. Evaluate basic technical enquiries, support site visits or reconnaissance, and gather relevant information for bid preparation. Conduct quantity checks, prepare preliminary costing, and source supplier pricing to support tender submissions. Draft offer letters, bid documents and submission materials, including compiling all required supporting documents. Assist in developing bid strategies, cost calculations and risk assessments while supporting achievement of HSEQ targets and objectives. Develop and maintain working relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders, and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in design, site, tendering or proposal-related work. Able to review technical enquiries, perform quantity checks and support preliminary costing. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
