Job Description & Requirements Job Summary Join our passionate patisserie team to prepare quality coffee and pastries while delivering warm, attentive service in a welcoming café environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee using a semi-automatic espresso machine to ensure consistent espresso extraction, milk texturing, and attractive drink presentation Provide friendly and attentive customer service to create a welcoming café experience Respond accurately to customer enquiries by phone and face-to-face about pastry selections, product ingredients, packaging options, custom orders, and availability Recommend products and upsell to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the café, coffee station, and display counters to ensure a safe and pleasant environment Assist with replenishing pastry displays and managing basic stock levels to support smooth operations Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily café operations and timely service delivery Required competencies and certifications Full-time availability including weekends and public holidays as required Experience operating a semi-automatic espresso machine Good understanding of coffee basics including espresso extraction and milk steaming Preferred competencies and qualifications Prior café or food and beverage experience Food Hygiene Certification
