Job Summary Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, creating menus, supervising staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring high-quality food preparation to deliver excellent dining experiences. Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely service Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and refine menu recipes that meet quality and customer expectations Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain productivity and teamwork in a fast-paced environment Manage food ordering, cost control, and inventory levels to optimize kitchen resources and reduce waste Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following established culinary standards and safety guidelines Oversee the food preparation process to ensure consistency, quality, and hygiene compliance Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and shift schedules to enhance team performance Preferred competencies and qualifications Knowledge of food and beverage professional principles and practices to support kitchen operations Familiarity with order and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels Awareness of current culinary trends and best cooking practices to contribute to menu innovation Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management
