Mechanic

Global and regional networking exposure. Employee assistance and referral programmes. Responsibilities Perform daily repair and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance work completed at the site or yard. Identify and report faults and requirements for machinery or equipment repair and replacement. Assist in diagnosing mechanical malfunctions and equipment issues. Assemble, set up and commission construction equipment used in operations. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform required repairs and follow up on outstanding maintenance work. Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of machinery, equipment and work areas. Support equipment maintenance activities at both the yard and construction sites. Requirements Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITE/NITEC certification in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery or construction equipment. Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. Willing to work at construction sites and in outdoor environments under different weather conditions. Able to work a 6-day work week. Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
